Betsy Eydt Award

In
honour of the services of H.R.N. (Ron) Eydt after 30 years of service,
contribution, and dedication to the residence community as Warden, and in
acknowledgement of the supportive role played by his wife, Betsy Eydt,
throughout those years, the Betsy Eydt Award will be presented to a deserving
Don on an annual basis.
The award will be presented to a Don who excels, above and beyond the job
description, in such manners as dedication to the residences and absolute
pillars of support to fellow Dons.
This contribution must be recognized.
The Betsy Eydt Award is presented for that reason, to a Don who each
year demonstrates a responsibility and an awareness beyond the expected
duties of their Donship. This Don
assumes an active and a positive role in maintaining, developing, and
improving the sense of community within the residences for future students
and for future Residence Life staff.
