The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one.

Awards

These are the various awards, scholarships and honours that I have received over the last few years. These awards demonstrate the amazing support system that I have.  As well, with hard work and determination, anything is possible.
I have been very fortunate with my scholarships and awards.  Firstly, being in a program that is very expensive relative to most program ($14000/year vs. $5000/year), these awards have provided tremendous financial support for a student who has no support from any other resources (including parents); however, more importantly, these awards provide me confidence and self-esteem, which are fundamental to academic and professional success.

Betsy Eydt Award

Residence Life

2011

In honour of the services of H.R.N. (Ron) Eydt after 30 years of service, contribution, and dedication to the residence community as Warden, and in acknowledgement of the supportive role played by his wife, Betsy Eydt, throughout those years, the Betsy Eydt Award will be presented to a deserving Don on an annual basis.
The award will be presented to a Don who excels, above and beyond the job description, in such manners as dedication to the residences and absolute pillars of support to fellow Dons.
This contribution must be recognized. The Betsy Eydt Award is presented for that reason, to a Don who each year demonstrates a responsibility and an awareness beyond the expected duties of their Donship.  This Don assumes an active and a positive role in maintaining, developing, and improving the sense of community within the residences for future students and for future Residence Life staff.
